Summary
Sentrx Animal Care, a Domes Pharma Group company develops and manufactures revolutionary veterinary care products and transforms biotechnologies into easy-to-use care solutions that promote the long-term well-being of animals. The company’s focus is on products for companion animal health. This opening is for a full-time benefitted position.

Duties
A Process Engineer I leads product development, validation, and manufacturing efforts; directs maintenance and calibration of instruments; and maintains appropriate records. Essential functions may include performing organic syntheses, leading quality control testing of intermediate and finished products, assisting in new product development and quality assurance activities, maintaining appropriate documentation, complying with and revising pertinent SOPs as needed, and participating in continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.

Abilities
Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices or Good Manufacture Practices (preferable ISO 13485 standards), computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. Knowledge of polymers or biomaterials is preferred but not necessary. Sentrx is a small company, and it is extremely important for the applicant to have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute to a positive work place environment are critical.

Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or bioengineering from an accredited college or university is required. Regular attendance and a neat appearance are expected. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs may be required.

Work Conditions
Full-time position is salaried and benefitted. Hours of operation are generally Monday through Friday with typical business hours, though manufacturing requirements may require small fluctuations in schedules. Target start date May 1, 2024.
